7 tips to get your Google Profile standing out

Follow our 7 step for local SEO success, we have put together a list of the 7 vital steps that won't only get your business visible but will get you rocketing towards the number 1 spot on your business profile. I am asked a lot on the mystery that is SEO and how it works, the truth is its a complex number of systems, some of which are saying the write thing (Key words) others are having good reliable content that people will come back to use again and again and using it to reference on their own site.

Local SEO is slightly different and one analogy I like to use to explain my strategy is the bridge strategy. We have a stream we need to cross, we have a piece of wood, there for we have a bridge (our Google business is the bridge). This server a porous but we want to stand out and not just be a plank over a stream, so when we build depth to the bridge with more planks, and planks for support we have a solid structure that will keep us standing out above the normal. So how do we build this depth?

  1. This may seem obvious but make sure your profile is complete, you will be surprise how many times I come across a page that has information missing, including your name, address, phone number, website URL, business hours, and categories. Providing comprehensive information helps Google understand your business and increases your chances of appearing in relevant search results.

  2. Write a compelling business description that accurately represents what you do and highlights your unique selling points. Incorporate relevant keywords naturally into your description such as (seo services Wirral) to improve your visibility in search results, also make sure you actually mention the area that you are wanting to be prevalent.

  3. Add photos of your business, These need to be the best quality as possible but you want to be aiming for at least 10. Prioritise getting these 10 over waiting for high Quilty images. include your logo, interior, exterior, products/services, and team members. Visual content enhances your profile's appeal and helps potential customers get a sense of what to expect when they visit your business.

  4. Reviews! Google uses these as a ranking factor and the bench mark to hit is at least 20, a review will help your ranking whether it's positive or negative. So don't sweat the critique to much.

  5. Once you have these reviews add depth to them be liking and responding with a comment of your own, even something like 'Glad you are happy, hopefully see you soon'

  6. Post regular updates, this can be done with photos or commenting to reviews, a lot of people will create their profile and then see it as a job ticked off and never go back to view it again.

  7. Cross reference you profile, even though Goggle is ahead of the rest there are many other search engines and platforms to advertise on such as Bing and Yell, if you change you details such as a new phone number, homepage URL or contact email. Make sure you you update it on all platforms so there isn't contradicting information on your business.

If you implement these steps it will start you off on the right foot to getting ahead on Google, as always we would love to hear your feedback on our web page.
